Cookie statement
This is a short page, because there is not much to declare. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking on this site.
No tracking, no consent banner
We set no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no tracking cookies. There are no third-party pixels, tags or social widgets on this site.
That is why you have not been shown a cookie banner. Under Dutch and EU law, consent is required for anything beyond what is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for. We do not use anything beyond that, so there is nothing for you to consent to or refuse.
If that ever changes, we will ask first — and the button to refuse will be exactly as prominent, as easy to find and as easy to press as the button to accept. Refusing will take one click, the same as accepting, and refusing will never restrict your access to the site.
What is stored in your browser
Your cart is kept in your own browser’s local storage under the key inkstep.cart.v1. It holds the pattern codes, sizes and quantities you added — nothing else, and no identifier for you.
That data stays on your device. It is not sent to us until you submit the checkout form, and it is not readable by anyone else.
Clearing your browser’s site data for socksource.shop empties your cart and removes it completely.
Strictly necessary items
Our hosting provider may set a short-lived, purely technical cookie to route requests and to protect the site against abuse. It carries no identifier that we can link to a person, it is not used to build a profile, and it is exempt from the consent requirement.
Where a form is protected against automated abuse, that check runs only when you submit the form and is not used for tracking.
Turning things off yourself
Every browser lets you block or delete storage per site, usually under Privacy or Site settings. Blocking storage for this site will stop your cart persisting between page loads, but nothing else will break.
